# Our Story

Valencia, Spain · 1964

## A 12-year-old girl walked into a baby clothing factory.

Today, that girl dresses women around the world.
Her name is Pepa. And this is her story.

1964

### I walked in knowing nothing.Expecting nothing.

At twelve years old, after school, I would go to a factory in my hometown in Valencia, Spain. They made baby clothes and cribs. It wasn't a romantic calling or a bold move. It was 1964 — a time in Spain when twelve-year-old girls simply helped support their families.

And right there, within two years, I completely lost my mind.

Lost it for fabrics. For the way fresh cotton crackled when you spread it out on the table. Lost it for stitching, for the impossible geometry of a pattern, for that precise moment when two flat pieces turned into a sleeve, a collar, something that would clothe a newborn.

The other girls counted the hours until they could go home. I stayed behind. Watching. Asking. Soaking it all up — stealing every move from the senior seamstresses with my eyes.

1966

### I made my choice.And I never looked back.

By fourteen, I wasn't the same girl who had walked into that factory. I had stumbled upon — without even searching — the one thing I would dedicate the next sixty years of my life to.

I started sketching my own designs. At night, I'd sew my own clothes at home. Everything I wore, I made myself.

Because in the sixties, in my hometown, a girl didn't get to make decisions. Girls prepared for marriage. Girls didn't pursue fashion, didn't voice opinions about fabrics or cuts.

It took me twenty-seven years
to finally dare to open
my own store.

1993

### The day the whole townstopped to watch.

A woman, owning her own business, in a small town in Valencia, in 1993. That wasn't exactly normal either. But on opening day, the whole town stopped. It was a party. My customers — some who'd known me since I was a kid — walked in like they were coming home.

From day one, I decided this wasn't going to be just another store — it was going to be a place where every woman felt free to wear whatever the hell she wanted.

The store just kept growing.
And one day I understood it wasn't just a store anymore.

Born

Before online stores even existed

### We uploaded photos.Customers called. We sold over the phone.

When computers came along, we were among the first. Nobody had a website yet — online stores weren't a thing. We posted photos of our collection on a webpage, customers called us up, and that's how we made sales.

No handbook. No playbook. Nobody to follow.

They told me I was crazy. Same as always.

Today

### That girlnever gave up.

We dress women in Spain, all across Europe, and in the United States. Young, free, fresh, bold women. Women who — just like that twelve-year-old girl in a factory in Valencia — refuse to let anyone tell them how far they can go.

Every Q2 piece carries sixty years of rebellion inside it. The rebellion of a woman who forged her own path when no one would let her. The same rebellion you carry every time you choose to be yourself.

was born from a woman
who said I can.

And every single day, every piece we create
carries those exact same words inside it.

Fashion with a rebel soul since 1964.
